Fountain Point Medical is a 71,800-square foot medical facility in Norfolk, Nebraska with designs in place for 28,000-square feet of expansion. The new building is home to eleven specialized practices and an ambulatory surgery center. A common corridor and waiting area act as the spine of the building, connecting all practices, and allowing patients to travel freely between various specialists.

This design concept highlights exterior views and maximizes natural light in the public areas of the building. The family practice and pediatrics wing received a special treatment of colorized window panels at varying heights and sizes to add visual and cognitive interest for the youngest of patients. The exterior mirrors its surroundings with the use of natural materials found commonly in rural Nebraska with wood-look lap siding and natural stone while cementing itself as a modern medical facility with clean lines of aluminum soffit and canopy features.
