Wade Stange, AIA, ACHA
Principal | Senior Architect
A Lincoln native, Wade has been with Davis Design since 1983. Wade’s father was an architect, so his fascination with the subject began early, and he grew up surrounded by it. Now President of the firm, he leads the healthcare design team and provides project direction for a wide array for healthcare projects that Davis Design undertakes. Wade enjoys the challenge of piecing together a complex project and coordinating the various disciplines that comprise a project. For Wade, it’s challenging yet rewarding to create an environment of comfort and healing for people when they’re most vulnerable. He is invested in his clients, learning how they work and what is most important to them before he even begins the project.
I played basketball in high school and one year in college. I had to give it up in my late 30’s due to arthritic joints, but kept the passion for the sport coaching all three of our sons in recreational league basketball. Following that, I ran for a few years (completing the Lincoln Half Marathon in 2013) and I used to enjoy doing sprint triathlons, but have reduced my running in recent years. I still enjoy biking and swimming. My wife and I enjoy working out after work.
