Steven Severson, AIA

Steve Severson, an Architect at Davis Design since 2021, enjoys transforming client goals into functional, buildable designs. With a Bachelor of Science in Design (2015) and a Master of Architecture (2017), both from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Steve brings a strong foundation in design and technical communication to every project.

His architectural journey began with an early interest in technical drawing, which led him to a drafting position. That hands-on experience sparked a deeper passion for architecture and ultimately drove him to become a licensed architect. Over the years, he’s gained diverse experience, where he focuses on converting client needs into detailed construction documents that guide projects from concept to completion.

For Steve, one of the most rewarding aspects of architecture is seeing a project come to life and knowing it meets the client’s vision.

Outside of the office, Steve supports People’s City Mission and enjoys grabbing a bite at Sultan’s Kite, one of his favorite local lunch spots.
