Matt Tonniges

Originally from Ravenna, Nebraska, Matt Tonniges brings over 15 years of construction experience to Davis Design. He holds a degree in Construction Management from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and has built a career rooted in jobsite leadership and client-focused communication.

As a Construction Administrator, Matt plays a key role in translating the client’s vision into action on the jobsite—ensuring that construction progresses smoothly, efficiently, and according to plan. His excitement for the industry was sparked while building homes in college and deepened during an internship in Texas, where he gained valuable, hands-on experience that shaped his career path.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys golfing with his fiancée, hunting, fishing, and coaching his two boys’ sports teams. He has also volunteered with the People’s City Mission and appreciates the opportunity to give back during the holiday season. His favorite lunch spot in Lincoln? The Watering Hole.
