Logan Wachal, PE

A Lincoln native, Logan earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2017. His journey with Davis Design began as an intern in 2013, transitioning to a full-time role in 2018, and achieving licensure in 2023. As a structural engineer, Logan designs and details structural systems that support architectural features while ensuring functionality and compliance with building codes. His interest in engineering stems from a lifelong curiosity about how structures come together—an interest sparked by his father, also a structural engineer, who would point out his designs around town.

Outside of work, Logan stays busy chasing his kids around and fixing whatever breaks at home or on his car. He’s an avid sports fan, and when he can find the time, he enjoys playing guitar. As for food, he’s not picky—but he swears by the Maui Wowie pizza at Mellow Mushroom, prime rib at Misty’s, and the jalapeño chicken wrap at Big Red, with a special appreciation for Texas Roadhouse rolls.
