Doug Burkink

Doug Burkink brings over 30 years of experience in architectural design, business development, and construction administration. Since joining Davis Design in 2021, he’s helped guide projects from concept to close-out, drawing on a long career in supermarket and distribution center design and his background with the Nebraska Army National Guard.

Doug holds degrees in Architectural Design and Business, and he thrives on creating spaces that exceed expectations. Every successful project confirms his passion for the work.

Outside the office, Doug enjoys SCUBA diving, golfing, home projects, and cheering on the Huskers. He’s also a dedicated community volunteer, actively involved with organizations like the United Way and Norfolk YMCA. His go-to lunch spot? Nofolk’s District Table & Tap.
