Darin Sperling, PE

From Seward, Nebraska, Darin is a registered professional engineer who has been with the firm since 1997. With nearly three decades at Davis Design, Darin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Senior Structural Engineer. A graduate of Doane College with a B.S. in Mathematics and a Physics minor, as well as a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His passion for problem-solving and mathematics naturally led him to structural engineering, where he thrives on the challenge of designing foundations and frameworks that stand the test of time.

Beyond his professional contributions, Darin is deeply involved in the community. He has served as president of Sheridan Lutheran Church and actively supports organizations like Barnabas, Clinic With A Heart, and City Mission. A dedicated sports official, he has spent 36 years as a high school basketball referee and recently expanded his officiating to include high school and college baseball umpiring.
