Holmes Lake Family Medicine & Internal Medicine, part of the Bryan Physician Network, chose Davis Design in 2022 to renovate a Lincoln building, transforming it into a state-of-the-art medical clinic. Originating as Valentino’s Ristorante in October 1974, the location evolved with a pizza buffet in the late 1970s and transitioned into the Grand Italian Buffet in 2002, becoming a fixture on Lincoln’s eastside.

The healthcare clinic renovation spans 12,392 sq. ft., housing 24 exam rooms designed around a POD concept, similar to the successful model implemented at Southeast Lincoln Family Medicine. PODs, serving as behind-the-scenes areas for collaboration among nurses, clinicians, and providers, ensure a seamless and exceptional standard of care. In addition to exam rooms, the clinic integrated a procedure room, advanced lab facilities, and x-ray services.

Simultaneously, the exterior received a contemporary makeover, featuring updated color schemes, incorporation of wood elements, and the installation of modern lighting, providing a refreshed and inviting entrance.
