Our Culture
Having been in business since 1912 has taught us a few things. For example, we've learned that:
1. We do our best work in a comfortable, attractive environment both of our offices--Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska--are new or newly remodeled. They offer the latest in design technology as well as a WAN (wide area network) system that facilitates the open and immediate exchange of information between offices, allowing us to actually function as one office in two locations.
2. Our best work also comes when we work together not only as a team of professionals but as friends. And friendships just seem a little better when there's food--as well as good conversation--to share. So at Davis Design, you just might find a few opportunities to enjoy some good food as well as good company.

3. Good communication is crucial to keep us all "on the same page". To that end, a weekly, inner- and inter-office newsletter, "The Monday Minute", keeps us in touch with each other and company happenings. We also have several company-wide meetings each year to keep up-to-date on benefits, profit sharing, the "state of the firm" and other items of interest.
In a nutshell, while you probably wouldn't describe Davis Design as a "sandals and jeans" kind of firm, we're definitely not stuffy. We work hard but, of all the lessons we've learned over the last nine decades, having some fun along the way may just be the most important one of all. |
