We trace the founding of our firm back to the formation of the partnership of George Berlinghof and
Ellery L. Davis in 1912. This was also the year that these two young architects secured their first major commission--the design of Lincoln High School.
The design of the new school was considered innovative, with reinforced concrete floors and roof.
And, long before anyone had even heard of "green design", Berlinghof and Davis incorporated

Today, nearly 100 years after it was built, the original Lincoln High facility continues to serve the community and shows all signs of doing so well into the future. And so it is with Davis Design.
